ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS

AGE AND EDUCATION

MIW Certification Courses require students to be at least 18 years old.

YOUTH PRORGAMS

MIW offers the same great training solutions for students under 18 years old. Students have the option of participating in small group programs or individualized 1-on-1 training. All youth training programs include the same state-of-the-art facilities, award winning instructors, and hands-on training.  All youth programs require permission from a parent or legal guardian. 

REGISTRATION AGREEMENTS

Students must complete a registration agreement for all courses. The registration process is not complete until first payment is made, AND student has submitted a signed registration agreement. Registration agreements can be submitted by mail or drop off at our training center.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE

Registration deadline for all MIW courses is 30 days before the first scheduled day of class. Courses are typically filled 2 months before class starts.

NO INTEREST FINANCING

Certain training programs are eligible for No Interest Financing. These plans are set up directly through MIW. Contact your MIW counselor for details.

TUITION PAYMENT

Tuition payments for all MIW courses can be made using the following methods:

• Mail (check or money order)
• Phone (e-check, credit, debit, ATM)
• Online (e-check, credit, debit, ATM)
• Drop off (check, cash, money order, credit, debit, ATM)

TUIION DISCOUNTS AND SPECIAL OFFERS

MIW offers tuition discounts and special offers on certain training programs. These offers are available for a limited time. MIW reserves the right to cancel any special offer at any time without prior notice. Students who receive discounts and special offers are subject to the same rules and regulations with regard to admission, payment, attendance, refunds, expiration, and all other policies. GROUP DISCOUNTS

Perfect for business, band, church, and school!

Groups of three (3) or more students receive tuition discounts off of any course. Groups can even register for different courses as long as they make tuition payments as a group. Group discounts may not be used in conjunction with payment plans. MIW reserves the right to determine eligibility and conditions pertaining to group discounts.

CERTIFICATION

Certain courses include a certificate of completion from Music Industry Workshop. Certificates are distributed to those students who maintain good attendance and score at least 80% or better on their tests and quizzes.

EMPLOYEE / CHURCH REIMBURSEMENT

Ask your employer or church about possible reimbursement for continuing education. Many employers and churches offer reimbursement for personal growth and training through work/life balance programs and other initiatives.

TAX WRITE-OFF

Ask your accountant if you or your business can write off training as an expense. You may be able to write off some or all of your personal training.
